Title: Free Home & Garden Expo Show starts next week
Post by: Pichai on February 06, 2015, 12:33:10 AM
I would like to announce a free event for Buriram Expats and Thai families which will be held inside a large Tent and inside my Builders Merchants Store on the Buriram - Phutthaisong Highway 2074.  Starting next Friday February 13th at 10am and for 5 days, ending at 4pm on Tuesday February 17 over thirty name brand vendors of house building materials, power tools, drip irrigation, kitchen appliances, sanitary ware and solar power with many booths staffed by bi-lingual representatives. The solar booth is manned by a UK expat who has installed several systems in Buriram for Ruangsangthai. Free admission, free Pizza from Roma Pizza, free Thai food, free beverages, free ice cream and the grand door prize is a new Apple iPhone 6.  You can operate name brand power tools and ask technical questions of all manner of vendors at Ruangsangthai. My store manager has tried to prevent the companies from sending spokes models but he might have been mistaken. You certainly can meet dozens of fellow expats on any of the five days and enjoy a beverage and meal courtesy of the 30 vendors who support this "Buriram Open Day". Many of the booths will offer "show specials" and our normal free local delivery policy will apply. The tool repair department will operate as normal during the Expo. I look forward to seeing you and your families at this event on any or all of the five days.  Mr. Pichai

If you drive into or past the Buriram Builders Merchants you will see signs for the Apple iPhone prize drawing and the area for the vendor booths who wish to demonstrate power tools, generators, solar power, water pumps, LED Lighting outside under the canvas roof and plenty of vendors will be inside the non air conditioned store with some manufacturers representatives who understand and speak English. I have hired four women who are in College or married to expats who understand both English and Thai to assist my expat customers who do not speak Thai. Mossimo and his wife Dtong are moving the Pizza oven for five days to Ruangsangthai and will be serving free Pizza to both expat customers and Thai customers at my store from 11am to 4pm daily. Mossimo will not be open at Roma Pizza from February 13th through February 17th. My native English speaking store manager has a budget for the beverages during this five day event he states will serve the expats in a proper manner.

My store manager is not authorized to serve beverages on his work permit. He is delegating that task to the three women who will be in the store for a limited time on Friday February 13th with the CEO of Hitachi Koki Power Tools. If you have any technical questions regarding Hitachi Power Tools or Hitachi Garden Tools or Hitachi Pressure Sprayers these might be the women to answer your questions. Certainly they are qualified for photo opportunities. Certainly team members of Ruangsangthai are qualified to serve beverages once these tool spokes models depart the building.

The Nippon Paint Sales Manager confirmed the attendance of a Nippon paint Booth "Pretty" during the 5 day Expo.  Spokes model is not the term used by some customers of the store. "Booth Babe" was a term used by a Canadian today. Some expats had recently purchased gypsum board and the metal framing to build interior walls. I have a booth being made of this material which will hold some of the new windows which arrived this weekend.

Very nice realistic display.  Prep those walls and have the paint 'pretty' give a demonstration.   punk

Got it now... spokesman.... spokeswoman.... spokes model, and so of course on to tool spokes model. I was imagining something slightly erotic for some reason. Never mind, I'll be there on Saturday. Possibly buying sexy bricks.

Dave: I am glad that you understand I have no real choice if those paint manufacturers spend marketing money on hiring females in skimpy outfits. Nippon Paint did confirm a Buy 2 get one free on five lines of house paints during the Buriram Home Expo. The fact the sales manager of Nippon Paint confirmed a female spokes model would be on duty to help people select paint colors was also discussed and agreed upon.

Sounds like you will be putting on a very nice and informative show, just as the last one was.  Wish I could be there for this one too.  Best of luck with it all.

I took a break from planning the Buriram Home Expo to spend time in the tool repair department today with my senior technician and the regional sales supervisor of Honda Power Products, Mr. Pairach Saetang. I will soon be stocking even more Honda Power Products including farming products and more back up generators for Buriram farmers and Buriram home owners. If you have any Honda brush cutters, water pumps, lawn mowers or generators please consider my repair team as your best source of quality Honda repairs in Buriram. Honda will not be sending booth spokes models but the fine American company Briggs & Stratton has promised to send a female sales person who speaks English and Thai for the Buriram Home and Garden Expo starting on Friday. I'll make sure my delivery staff pick up the Pizza oven from Roma Pizza early on Friday morning so Mossimo can be prepared for our guests.

Thursday most every booth was set up and prices marked down on the show specials. Mr. Kazumi Hoida the Managing Director of Hitachi Power Tools speaks English and Japanese. He told my store manager that he would in fact have three women models working in the Hitachi Power Tools booth in Buriram starting on Friday. Seems Jupiter Tools, Delta Paints, Nippon Paints, Zinsano pressure washers will all have booth models and I'll have photos posted. You are welcome to ring cameras to my Buriram Home Show Expo. I reconfirmed the pizza oven movement with Roma Pizza for 9am on Friday for the five day event. Thank you for your kind words and support.

My Mother, my wife and I would like to Thank the many Expats who took time on Friday to visit the first day of the 5 day Buriram Home Expo. I do hope that you enjoyed the complimentary Pizza from Roma Pizza or the complimentary Thai Food cooked by jack's Resort catering staff. The chain saws are a bit loud, the paint models might be on the microphones too much and it is more quiet at the rear area of the store where you can enjoy a beverage and a pizza. Saturday at 1pm is a concert performance by a popular Thai musical singer. You are welcome to attend as many days as you like and you can enter the drawing for the iPhone 6 once a day.  Please tell your friends to come an enjoy the food, beverages, entertainment and the chance to speak English with technical representatives of brands you know and trust. The Home Expo runs through next Tuesday evening.

Mike: I look forward to your visit and it has been a real pleasure to see so many expats participate at my family store Home Expo. Some of the booth models change attire each day, but the Hitachi women seem to have time to wash their uniforms each night. The Pizza from Roma Pizza has been a real hit and my Thai customers are very happy with the Thai food from various Buriram Restaurants including Jack's resort.

My Mother, My wife, and I would like to THANK all of the Buriram Expats and their families who took the time to attend our 2nd ever Buriram Home Expo at Ruangsangthai. My team of store employees were in the proper spirit of customer service, most of the vendor booth staff understood the value of giving proper advise and some special promotions to attendees in Buriram of this Home Building exposition. The fine staff of Jack's Resort and Roma Pizza Restaurant in Buriram worked overtime to provide quality food for our guests. I will publicize the 7 winners of our door prizes. Two people won Apple iPhone 6 mobile telephones and five people won Samsung Galaxy mobile telephones provided by Thai Pride Cement Company, VRH bathroom fittings, Hitachi Power Tools, Briggs & Stratton Lawn Mowers, Jupiter Power Generators, Teka Kitchen appliances for guests to the Buriram Home Expo. All seven winners wrote the name and address in Thai so Jan the Buriram Hardware store translator will list the name, amphur and last 3 digits of the winners telephone numbers and post them on our web page www.burirambuildersmerchants.com (http://www.burirambuildersmerchants.com)  and various facebook pages. My secretary in the photo with the Buriram Netafim drip irrigation technical advisor has the winning tickets at her desk and she has contacted by telephone all of the prize winners. She will take a photo of each winner when they come to the Buriram Builders Merchants to pick up the prize in person. If you have any suggestions on how to IMPROVE the Buriram Home Expo, or make it a better guest experience, please do not hesitate contact me or my store manager in person so we can take action.   Thank you, Mr. Pichai

Thank you again for all the fantastic support from the Buriram (and beyond) expat community. In about four months I will organize another Buriram Home Expo.  A special thanks to Jack's Resort for being one of the three Thai restaurants who catered the five days and for Roma Pizza for serving delicious Pizza on all five days.  Thank you, Mr. Pichai.
