We had a very urgent need to have a document notarised this week, and decided to go to Teerasak in Buriram. The choice was going all the way to Khorat to see Sebastian at Isaan lawyers who would have charged 500baht
After waiting 50 minutes beyond the time of my appointment, and with 2 Thais "jumping the queue" I was charged 2000baht for a signature and stamp. The Lawyer had to check his training manual to see how to affix the stamp. EXTORTION.......BE WARNED!
