No, it wasn't bought on the first car buyer's scheme Nookie-I have already bought 5 cars in Thailand so ,obviously,I do not qualify.It would be nice to hear something positive come out of your mouth once in a while Nookie,negativity gets very,very boring after a while.

Eric,not in the least bit negative...........You didn't say it was YOUR vehicle & even if YOU hadn't had a vehicle before YOU wouldn't have qualified

I thought Nookies comments were more of an informative and helpful comment, sounds like not to bad a deal with the Navara, about the same price as a new standard Calibre 2wd ...but yours is a limited edition, 4wd... Good luck with your sale

Hi Speros,I have the current price list here in my office .You must be talking about SE model not LE .You got a good deal though.SE price is currently 654,000.However LE has many more features,but both are good value compared to other brands.Cheers

I believe it was for all cars made in Thailand , but had a scale of the highest rebates for small passenger vehicles, going down with 4 door pickups, further down with king cab, the least to commercial single cabs ( less than $500 rebate)

Speros,passenger cars only up to 1500cc were included-pick-ups also qualified,but rebate was lower because tax rate was lower.Cars and pick-ups also had to be less than 1,000,000-baht

Ok Starman,seeing that so many are interested in the first car buyers scheme,as a sign of goodwill,I will match the rebate amount.I have consulted the govt.list and it was 19,000baht-on my car for Thais buying their first car.I will deduct 19,000 baht for all BE members-so their price is now 631,000 baht. Cheers.

Cheers ban1216-In case anyone is wondering,the reason I am selling the car is that I no longer need a pick-up.I bought the 4wd to launch my sailboat on the lake at Buriram when it rains and gets muddy.However,since then I have discovered many people have been killed by lightning in the area.Consequently.I don't go sailing in stormy weather anymore.My other car easily tows my boat,so ,now I will use that in fine weather.

Hi All,I have personally seen and looked at Eric's motor,and it is definately as new,not a mark on it,and I've seen it parked in Eric's house,carefully looked after,as he seems to do with everything he has.SO more then 200,000Baht under cost with 11,000k on it,sounds a real good price to me.JasonB.
