Title: Buriram Beach
Post by: HappyinIsaan on March 25, 2008, 11:33:08 AM
This large swimming resort has a seemingly defunct web site. No contact address given nor telephone number

Yesterday went to take the kids there expecting it to be open as school holidays, but closed.

Anyone any news of whether it remains open?

After several abortive attempts to gain entry to the "Beach" during the last Songkran and school holidays, I expressed my frustration (and that of the people I took along) on another website,

After a few days I received a direct response from the Australian behind the venture, assuring me that it was open and would remain open. He told me that he had big money in Oz and that the Beach was just his plaything, having cost him 6 million baht.

Recent drive-by's after shopping expeditions reveal it is closed.  OK it's the rainy season, the kids are at school and there probably are no customers, especially on weekdays. But why, oh why cannot they put up a sign on the gate indicating when they might be open (i.e Weekends only). Perhaps post a telephone number, so that those out of town wishing to visit can ring and check that it is/will be open.

However, I'm done with the place. I can think of far better ways to spend and invest 6 million!

Was always closed whenever I wanted to go.

Excellent new pool in Prakhonchai. Open 10 -8. 40bt to swim Leo 50bt. Thai food from 25bt

Just out of town about 1km on the Plablachai Road, opposite a small petrol station on a bend.

Have 2 rooms for rent at 600bt.

Excellent.

Lots of nice girls like to swim too!

Why is it Thai girls like to wear their bra under their swimming costume???

Last time I was in Buriram January 2011 I found the water in the city pool dirty (not clear).   The Thepnakorn pool was by far the cleanest, but there is the other pool not far from the Thepnakaorn.  I'm not sure what the road is called, but heading towards the roundabout (elephant) its on your right hand side about 1 klm from the Thepnakorn about 300 metres in.   Nice 50 metre pool and cleaner than the city pool.

I was there yesterday, Name is BK, the water wasn't very clear, a lot of chloride, my eyes hurted all night though I didn't swim under water much. Was there about 11 years ago, it was new then, same as they do with everything here, no :( maintanance. :(

Could it be because their tits would look very small if they didn't ?

An alternative reason could be that Prakhonchai schoolgirls are somewhat more shy than bushbabes !!

Actually CoCo, it wasn't so much the schoolgirls as the Young Adults!

Mrs CoCo has declared the place "Off Limits" to you!
