hi does anyone know for certain if you can get reentry permit at bangkok airport

By all reports from TV you can. I get mine at Kap Choeng Immigration. 1000 baht for single or 3800 baht for mult. Need two passport photos.

Only if you are leaving in an emergency situation & you'll need to furnish proof.
