Title: Illegal logging Rosewood
Post by: smoooth2 on March 31, 2013, 06:02:32 PM
Sad story in todays liftout Spectrum section of Bangkok Post.

Concerns the murder of a Pang Sida NP ranger (Sa Kaeo Province) two weeks ago by illegal Siam Rosewood loggers.

It's happening in Surin & Si Sa Ket Provinces also.

Interesting little insight into this incredibly valuable and beautiful timber, most of which apparently finishes up in China.

3 page story, so it's quite detailed.

The reports that I have been told by them are something to be hold. We have nothing but the heights phrase for them

How was your holiday Dave ?

I stopped by for a cappucino and a chat 3 weeks ago. Was looking forward to it. Of course, the place was closed. I'd forgotten you were galavanting around DC.

I'll catch you next time.
