 Cypress is this a sign of what will happen all over the EU? Or possibly the world?

Afraid so.. They've already tried to do it here in the US.  They called it a transaction tax.. 1% on all deposits and another 1% tax on all withdrawals.. So it amounted to 2%.. It never got any traction here.. Even with the current administration trying to shove it through congress it didn't work.. That was one time you had both sides of the isle on the same page.. Both parties and both houses of congress said NO.. But I can see it happening sometime in the future.. What the hell.. they found a way to tax Social Security payments here..
