About a year ago, we stopped in to an Architect/design place in Buriram; however, can not find their info or remember much more than we visited the place and they were fairly limited re English. brick1 My wife did most of the talking, but she doesn't care for the cost of having a set of plans. I think I have her convinced that a set of plans might be better than 4 posts and a stack of corrugated tin.
Wondering if a BE member might help me out with the info; names, numbers, any other contact info. The place was just a few doors to the south of the Jira traffic circle; don't recall the name of the street other than Rd 219; and across from the Buriram NE Culture Center; about where Mani Wan street intersects 219.
Any info greatly appreciated!

This thread is helpful. I plan on contacting them when I go there this year. If you do make contact with your person and have a good experience, I appreciate if you pass the info this way. Best of luck to you.

Bill ... if the place you are talking about had grass and a kids swing / slide out the front .... i think it is NO longer there.
I go past it most mornings and do remember the office from the grass. If this is the one, I will get off my bike and see if there are any "Moved To" posters up.

There is a guy who is 'qualified' who runs the post office in Ubon during the week.He is a bit slow because of that commitment but did plans for us (160 sqm bungalow) in about a month.
He lives on the road between Muang Pizza and Coffee Connection.

Excellent information all. This has prompted me to print the threads and start a folder to take with me for all these great contacts when I get there. Keep em coming!

Umm; no. Just as you come out of the traffic circle, southbound; seems like it was the first, maybe second office type building. But, VERY close to the round-a-bout.

^^^ and just past it was there a motorcycle shop ??

Don't remember that; remember if I had blinked coming off of Jira, I would have passed it; and there was very little space to park.

We are in the final stages of having a house built in Nangrong. The builder came with a book of houses they had done or could build , We picked one design and he took us to view this in Packam.
We made some changes to the original plans, He gave us a set of plans showing, details of foundations, post sizes, electric layout, plumbing layout, window sizes, about 15-20 pages.
The main team is father and son, the son been on design, father organising labour. they seen to use locals for manual jobs, bring in specialists to do, roofing, electrics, ceilings etc.
Feel free to contact me if you require more information.
