Have anyone had this done anywhere in Buriram? Where? How much? Satisfied?
-
Yes. At the clinic attached to the pet shop on the road just opposite the Bank of Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives in Thani Road. I had a five-month old puppy neutered (to stop him raping his mother as she was coming on heat!). The vet there, the daughter of the shop owner, and a fairly recent Chula graduate, is very painstaking, and I've always been satisfied with the way she treats my dogs. I don't remember how much.

Thanks mate. I plan to have this done (to my DOG!) by the end of the month.

I think contraceptives would be a lot less painful. runningdog

You don't know very much about dogs, Candy. The operation is done under an anaesthetic, and the dog knows nothing about it. There is a dressing on the wound for a week.... and in my dog's case, he didn't even lick it, so clearly was hardly aware that it was there. Meanwhile he led his normal life.
The neutered male is no longer likely to go off for a few days, be a nuisance to the neighbours, and maybe get lost, poisoned or stolen. There is no evidence that he misses it in the slightest.

Isanbirder, do you have a phone number for this vet? as my gf and I have a couple of dogs ready for the SNIP soon.

The vet is Khun (or Mor) Rocha; her numbers are 083-6817199 and 081 6002090. The address is 39/1-2 Thanon Romburi, and it's next door to a Clinic (for people!).

Sorry, but however nice, gentle and painless you say it is. I'm still not having it done.
p.s. How does he usually lick it? Does he use a belt around his neck, and do one notch at a time?

Binnsy, there are enough village dogs with their arses hanging out, I will not concern myself with the rights of dogs testicles, "a tiger dose not concern itself with the opinion of sheep"
