Title: Checking in...
Post by: billybaht on January 30, 2013, 01:15:09 PM
Hi Board,

Nice web site here and good info :)

I was interested in a Buriram gal and went there to meet her. Long story short, it didn't work out so I'm back in Pattaya. I have to say I was impressed with the friendliness of the Isan Thais, really genuine smiles and frequent Hello ambushes by the kidds :)

Any way, I think I'll be back again, its a nice motorcycle ride from Pattaya :)

Billy

Thanks for the kind welcome!

Yes, I think the natural progression is to venture away from the tourist areas. I'm on the "Dark Side" now, East Pattaya, so a little less touristy. P

Pattaya to Buriram is an easy one day ride on my Honda CBR 150 :)

I stayed one night at Thepnakorn Hotel. Nice room but a bit pricy at 900/night. (Great buffet breakfast though)

You stayed in one of the most expensive hotels in the Buriram area.
You can get a nice room for 350/400 Baht a night with A/C.
