Wow, sounds almost like going to Sturgis.

My PCX is almost like a Harley.   bike038

For those that don't know, Sturgis South Dakota is the original bike week in America the 1st week of August.  The other main bike week is in Daytona Florida in March.  I was all set to make it to Daytona in 2002 had hotel reservations and everything, but Uncle Sam called 2 months before and decided I needed a better beach vacation in sand box.  But I made it to Sturgis in 2003, what great ridings, rode to Mount Rushmore, the badlands, Devil's Tower (place from Close Encounters of the 3rd kind), and other neat places.

Alan....The poster says "Tesaban 1 School". Than is the one on the left hand side of the road as you are heading towards City Hall from the Coffee Connection, and next to the Tech College. The school near to Paddy's bar is Tesaban 2.

Had a good time in Buriram last night. Saw plenty of friends, The shops and biker equipment were better than most shows and there were many many more farangs there, than most shows. I was a little disappointed with the show because there was (as always) far to much talking and not much action (on stage). Stayed in the Siam Orchid and for 500b was well worth it.

Roll on Pattaya and Surin shows next month!!!!!!!!!

It is with regret that one farang died in an accident near his village by surin last night on his way back from the bike show. I believe no other vehicles were involved. Name not known at this stage. Riding in the dark on some of the appalling roads around villages takes a lot of skill and concentration. It would be nice to see more money spent on some of these side roads instead of being wasted on stupid village parties .R.I.P.

taken from SF forum.......

Quote
I have been in telephone contact with family friend via Per's phone number. All I know is this.....
 1) He left Buriram alone later than us because we had to go at 7.30am Sunday. His Harley was still chained up in Hotel car park along with 15 other bikes.
 2) He was phoned Sunday afternoon to see if he was OK and he was on his way back and refueling at a PPT station.
3)When I phoned him monday. A family friend answered and said he was killed near his village at 6pm. They found out at 8pm and another car was involved. His pregnant wife was at her late husbands ceremony. She said she cannot contact Swedish family so I forwarded the BKK number for the Swedish Embassy to her.

While at the show we spoke to Eivan (Oasis and Nordic Riders) about another Charity Bike Run. He said he would go speak to Gary too. I keep thinking about doing something to help the child that he will never see and maybe involving Freelife and Buriram guys because he sure looked like he was having a lot of fun that weekend.

 ANY THOUGHTS GUYS?????????
