Do i need a license from the local government office or can i just set up anywhere... They have the peddle boats here in Buriram and would like to set up near there but who do i go see??
-
I would think it would be a 'closed shop'!

A bit more info would go a long way Toffo. Commercial boats on the coast need licences to operate so I would assume the same would apply on inland water. Whatever venture your contemplating, if its to do with water make doubly sure your well covered with all safety equipement and insurance.
Government office would be a place to start but which one? Good luck. boatsailing

Maybe a good idea to send the wife over to the peddle boats to ask the owners what we need to do....

Just a point Toffo - Being married does not exempt a farang from having a work permit - although I do understand the point you are making re your wife working.
