Post by: sprog1 on December 04, 2012, 06:00:44 PM
Hi, there's a cycle ride this coming Sunday the 9th, starting from the new I mobile stadium at 7am. It's an easy course with only 2 small climbs & covers 86klm. If anyone is interested you can sign up on the line, but get there early

He can indeed Nookie - I assumed he would be riding alongside you.

Unfortunately however. he will be preparing for Santas visit in the UK, so you will have to go alone!

More on the Buriram ride, Ambulance & paramedics will be attending, there will be a Police car escorting the riders, & there will also be motor cycle outriders. Drink stops {sorry lads no beer} along the way to provide refresments. Entry is 500b which goes to charity, don't know which one though

Perhaps the charities that his ride was supporting will send some attractive nurses along to soothe his aches and pains!

I thought he said its was an easy one!!!!  Give the old man a few days to recover and maybe he can add some pictures.

I was thinking BE would have followed this event though.

Considering he goes out most days and does up to 100 klms + All the Pro Bike rides ( 100 - 150 Klms) + other organized events ......

....... I think he did OK :)

Somnat, I wasn't walking around LIKE AN OLD MAN, I am an old man, but don't tell the girls, i've been telling them i'm 21. I had a rest on Monday, then back out on the bike Tues. The ride even though it was mostly flat, it was hard because of the speed, & the heat. Ice, my son, beat me by over 2mins, now I know i'm old, he's only 14yrs old & getting faster each week, while I seem to be getting slower. There are lots of pictures but they are all on facebook, under Buriram bike club. Nick, from Ban Yan rode, does anyone know how he got on, I was hoping to see him out & about but I haven't seen him yet.
