Many ways to get from Buriram to Suvarnabhumi airport.
Here is one:
NCA bus Buriram to NCA depot. Taxi (with bags) or Motorcy to Mor Chit BTS.
Skytrain to Phaya Thai station. Airport link to Airport.
Done and dusted :)
-
Train from Buriram to Bangkok.
Train/Taxi from Bangkok to Suvarnabhumi airport.
Train from Bangkok about 130 Baht 30 Baht on the first train and about 90 Baht on the second train.
Taxi about 300 Baht.

NCA stops at mall just north of DMK, I would got off there and get a taxi rather than wait/ride the extra 1/2 hour.

The mall is Future Park at Rangsit.........ALL BURIRAM-BANGKOK buses stop there not just NCA.

Or get a taxi to Don Muang Airport and fly Nok Air - it's 2,000 one way but only an hour and done.

Future Park Mall looks the best bet, rather than going to the centre of Bangkok and coming back out again,if thats what we would have to do.
What would we expect to pay for a taxi and how far from the Mall is the Airport,Nok Air i think dos not fly Thursdays. bananadance party3

I've never used a taxi but its about a 30 minute ride with 2off 30 baht tolls,so it shouldn't be more than 300 baht....Make sure they use the meter.

I flew Nok Air to DMK, got a taxi to BKK, if I remember right (was over a year ago before the floods) the cost was 320 baht (+50 baht airport tax), and maybe 70 baht for Tolls. So 300 baht from sounds about right, not sure if there are any tolls.
BTW, if you take the train, I recommend you get off at DMK, you'll save yourself an hour or more rather than getting off at Bang Sue or Hap.

You would have passed through the same 2 tolls @30 baht a go as you would have taken the same route to BKK

Thanks all for your imput to my question,we will most lightly take the bus to Future Park Mall then the taxi to the Airport, and hope the driver will not take us on a tour, because myself and my Thai lady will not have a clue where we will be going, apart the Airport. party3 bananadance
P S how dos the Spell Check work, i get a blank square on my screen when i click on it.

bonghead ... as long as your taxi driver goes east to the #9 and then turns south, you will be ok.
If you start seeing signs for Buriram ...bail out :)

Along the Highway 9,then onto the Highway 7 following Chonburi signs,as sometimes there is a lack of Airport Signs.
