I don't remember how to call this.
I took one, and it was good, was many kind of sour berry and a bit sweet from whisky.
It was nice!!

This is a really good bar where live music is played ( I play piano every week). There is a Philipino guy who comes from Korat every week, a Thai girl singer who sings in English covering Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys, Maria Carey and countless other artists, and a talented young Thai guy who plays guitar and sings in English. Some weeks there is a band playing later on.
It opens every Saturday night and there is a wide selection of beers and spirits, especially German beers.

It is open till early morning fom around 7pm on Saturday night. It is very nice inside with air con and nice decorations and 1st class musical equipment. Well worth a visit!!

About bar I should have said beers from Holland and Belgium as well as Germany. Also the usual Thai beers are available.

Interesting name Nekromantix, is that an idiom for a romantic necrophiliac? Perhaps not, but either way looks like a good place for a night out.

The owners are 2 Thai girls, they speak quite good English and good relations.

Just to let people know, the Thai girl who sings has got through to the 'blind auditions' for the voice Thailand. I play the keyboard there and I have to say that in all my experience of teacing music and working with vocalists , at the age of 22 she is absolutely outstanding!!

Is the place still open?

I'm afraid that 'Necromantix' makes me think of necrophilia, but worse than that, romantic necrophilia, which is an interesting concept but not likely to attract my custom. My wife won't let me go anyway.

The name MUST mean more than romantic necrophilia.  I hope.

I played piano at this bar until September last year. I rehearsed with the singer many times, and I played there for nearly 2 years, but as with all 'young people' they know best, and so I left as I felt the direction she was taking was the same as so many bands here, and so our unique performances were to become history. Now they seem to have music the same as every other bar in Buriram, with expensive drinks.
Perhaps my vast experience and capability as a performer count for nothing in a place like that!  Time will tell! The bands that play in 'Haircut' and Chinasai have some very talented young musos in them, and also on my last rare visit to 'Speed' the vocals and visual performance were very good. Plenty of choice now in Buriram!
