I am going to buy a 4 door pick-up......NEW. But when ever I ask the 'salesman' what is the kpl or mpg they duck the question. I am interested in the Isuzu, Chevvy and the new Forsd ranger. Can you all give me your experiances.
The ford web site says that the new ranger uses 7.6 litres per 100 k sounds ambitisious. What are your opinions

Why don't you go for a diesel one? It will give you great economy and good towing capacity.
Fuel economy could be different for 4 cylinder vs 6 cylinder.

Our Isuzu 2.5ltrs, 4 years old and 125000 km uses 7.5 liters per 100km (shows the board computer). I admit that I don't have a heavy foot. Drive around 90-100 km per hour.
Cheers
