With effect from 29/03-31/10/09 flights will increase from 3 to 4 a week. happy3
Mon, Wed, Fri & Sun.
Depart BKK 11.00am arrive BFV 12.05pm
Depart BFV 12.35pm arrive BKK 13.40pm
As of today fare one way still Baht 2,665 all in

Today bought a return ticket from BKK on 29 May, cash price at Buriram Airport ticket office was 2000 baht for non-refundable.

no one knows why there are now only ATR72 and the routes that the aircraft is of Nok

Further to the previous post I have just looked at the PBair website and I see that all their flights are now on ATR72's any idea what happened to the Embraer Regional Jets. confused3
Last time I flew PBair it was on a BKK -BFV sector operated by Bangkok airways ATR. On asking where the RJ was I was told undergoing C check!
Just curious as the RJ is a nice piece of equipment!

Today bought a return ticket from BKK on 29 May, cash price at Buriram Airport ticket office was 2000 baht for non-refundable.
Are you sure you got a return for 2,000 baht ,as the special offer is quoting 4,000 baht return...............

Try reading his initial post #5,which clearly states 'return trip cost 2,000 baht'

Ok, anyway they are offering round trip Bkk-Buriram ROUND TRIP for 4000 Baht only.
Thats a reduce of 1430 baht from the original rate.

Had a ticket from BFV to BKK already, was not sure how was getting back to Buriram, was considering the train. But while at the BFV Airport decided to buy a one way return ticket, was pleasantly surprised that it only cost 2000 baht.
Seems to be an interpretation misunderstanding between the terms "Return" and "Round Trip" In the original context I used "Return", it meant a one-way ticket from BKK to BFV.

Just logged onto the PB Air site to check on flight availability for Oct 28th, Buriram to BKK.
I got the following message....
*Mae Sot, Buriram, Roi-et, Sakon Nakhon Temporary not service
Does this mean they are going "t1ts up", I wonder?

I just called them right now and the lady on the phone said all flights mentioned above include BURIRAM are suspended strat from 24-27 October 2009.
All flights later on from this dates are not sure to be operated.
Reason: "Commercial" reasons.

:( Darn, I was concerned about this as the flights I have been on had a lot of empty seats. It was my travel method of choice between BKK and Buriram.
Will just have to keep my ears open as to their status. :'(

Just talked with someone an hour ago. he said he booked a flight on the website for the 28th so maybe they just hold the flight till the 27th same the lady on the phone said to me earlier this morning.
Try to see if you can book a flight there.
*Mochit bus station 6 hours direct trip BKK-BURIRAM with "nakhon chai air" company is also not so bad option considering the low cost (around 400 baht include free water and snacks ;) ).

Looks like you can book for October 28 and 30, but will not let you book November. I sent email to PB Air on status of my reservations, but they have not answered yet.
Hopefully they will resume schedule. :-\

Just got an email reply from PB Air stating:
FLIGHT ITINERARY

9Q 897Y 04NOV WE BFVBKK HK1 1235 1340 /O
So I guess they are good to go for next week. party8 The email did not provide any information as to any issues they are having. party13
Hopefully the sevice will continue. I think it is the best way to get between BKK and BFV, other than a carrier landing confused2 several months ago it has been really good.

Well PB Air will not be returning to the skies,,,,it officially ceased to exist as of 21-12-2009...........with debts of over 2 billion baht............
