A wild mushroom shaped like a Cobra’s head has been discovered at the  base of a dead tree close to the Potisan Market in North Pattaya.

The  unusually shaped mushroom was discovered by Khun Oorai aged 38 who  summoned her friends to come and see the cobra shaped mushroom which  soon led to a shrine being set up and hundreds of people who arrived to  pray, believing the mushroom would bring them good luck.

The mushroom is  15 centimeters in length and dark brown in color and we have been told  that for those choosing their Lottery tickets for the next draw on 1st  December, they should visit the mushroom and they will surely receive a  message from above regarding the numbers they should choose.

This, or something similar, happens on average about once a year in Thailand.  A cobra's head wasn't what it reminded me of, though.

MUKDAHAN: There's a well known – if slightly crude – expression in the United Kingdom: “As happy as a dog with two dicks”.

But how happy is a dog with two vaginas?

Anyone wishing to find out should pay a visit to Udorn Battasao, 29, who lives in a village in Mukdahan province.

Mr Udorn is the proud owner of “Bendy”, a three-month-old puppy gifted with two sets of genitals.

At first sight, it’s clear Bendy is no ordinary dog. She has an extra leg sprouting out near the ankle on her back-left leg.

But five-legged dogs are hardly news to seasoned Queer Newsfolk.

When Bendy lies on her back, you can see what’s got the residents of Mr Udorn’s village really excited: her extra vagina.

The organ, on her groin on the same side as her extra leg, looks just like a normal vagina, though it doesn’t have an opening.

As is usual for rural Thailand, residents of the village are queuing up to see Bendy’s bits – in the hope of gleaning the week’s winning lottery numbers therefrom.

Bendy was the last of seven puppies born to her mother at the start of September.

Mr Udorn inspected the puppies one by one and was surprised to see Bendy’s bizarre genitals.

Still, Mr Udorn said Bendy was strong and he would raise her as a normal dog.

He lets her out in the morning to play in the rice fields and brings her home every night with the rest of the puppies.

We can only assume she’s as happy as a dog with two…

Crazy frog on a bike!

 A Thai woman claims her pet frog enjoys riding toy motorcycles and can predict winning lottery numbers.

Tongsai Boommrungtai, 52, came across the black spotted frog, which she called Nong Oui, outside her house in Roi-Et.

 "The frog had a small chick in its mouth," she said. "I looked her straight in the eye and knew I could communicate with her. I told her to drop the chick and she did and then came hopping in.

 "Ever since she has been a member of the family. For a long time villagers would come round and get tips on the National Lottery with the frog's help. They used to read the skin on her stomach and look for numbers.

 "Ten people subsequently won the lottery which drew crowds to the house - and then they started losing. So I have had to ground her. I promised one day to take her to the seaside, and her dream has come true.

 "There is nothing more that she likes than to chill out on her toy Harley-Davison, or a battery operated dumper truck. But she can strike a pose just about anywhere."
