Apple co-founder Steve Jobs dies aged 56
Former chief executive and co-founder of US computer giant Apple Steve Jobs has died, the company says. He was 56.
In a brief statement, Apple said he died on Wednesday, without giving further details.
Jobs had been suffering from pancreatic cancer.
The company said the world was immeasurably better because of Steve Jobs.

I believe he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer about 4 years ago,Prognosis for most people ( 80%) is about 2 years.For patients with incurable (locally advanced unresectable or metastatic) pancreatic cancer, survival is even shorter; typically it is measured in months. I guess an apple a day really does keep the doctor away.!!
