Welcome to the forum Lance........Have a couple of Aussies living in Nong Ki area.
Ryans resort is well worth a visit ,,its not far down the road from the traffic lights in Prasat

Hi Lance...welcome to the board.

You may want to look in on (BM) Ludo's place, "Time Out Fishing Park".  It's just North of Highway 24 and between Prasat and Prackon Chai.  (Also a sponsor of this forum)

http://www.bankadon.info/

Bar, restaurant, crazy golf, fishing pond, pool table, karaoke night etc.  Always seems to be a few kids around and very "family" friendly.

If you want anything lively after 8.00 pm Lance I suggest that you try Pattaya.

Surin/Buriram is probably not for you.

Lance said Prakhonchai was dead at 6pm. Is Coffee Corner also closing early, or more holidays perhaps!

Lance- welcome to the area. In the absence of Ray -  Mr. Coffee Corner -  on a Cambodian escapade, , may I assure you that Coffee Corner (Prakhonchai)is open tonight (as I believe it always is), and Friday night is an excellent night where you will meet many farangs (some from down your way). Hope you will come along. There is an adjoining "Friday night market" which the wives seem to love week in and week out!

The aforementioned Ludo's place is closed on Mondays and Fridays!

Harley Bar and Staffords are both open. I have been to the Harley Bar the last 5 fridays for the live music he has between 5:00-8:00 pm on fridays. I had dinner at Staffords everytime I was there also. Both are open and doing fine. As the others have already said, Coffee Corner, Time Out and Ryans Resort are very nice also.
