Have to go to Vientiane Laos Monday/Tuesday to renew Imm B.
My question is:
How do I get there by bus from Prakhonchai, the comfortable way!
My first time to Laos so any feedback appreciated.

You don't need to go Mukdahan but to Nong Khai which is the closest city in Thailand to Vientiane,Laos.
The cheapest way is to take a bus from Buriram to Nong Khai and cross the border to Vientiane,Laos.
The most comfortable way is using Buriram Expats VIP Visa Run service.

Hi Dennis,
your message was deleted by mistake but to answer your question, the best way for you is to take a bus to Nong Khai,Thailand and there cross the border by yourself to the Thai embassy in Vientiane,Laos.

Still having problems!
Am I correct in saying that I need to get a bus to Khon Kaen from Buriram, then a bus to Udon and then a bus to Nong Khai?
There does not appear to be direct buses to Udon or Nong Khai from either Prakhonchai or Buriram.
Call me confused! Help!! sawadi :-\ :-\

Maybe a better idea is to take a Bus/Train to Korat (Nakhon Ratchasima) and from there to Nong Khai. sawadi
