Hi all,
New to the forum and just wanted to say hi. Currently living in Pattaya but have now had enough of the place and am hoping to move to Prakhon Chai soon. Any info on property for rent there would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, think I actually ate at the coffee house when I was in Prakhon Chai last month, beside the bus station?
40 Years old from Aberdeen Scotland, left seven years ago and have been working in the Middle East since I left, currently in Kuwait.
Just had enough of Pattaya to be honest, spending far to much money and all I have really seen of Thailand so far is the insides of bars and gogos. Time to get out and about and see what Thailand is really like.

You'll be made welcome in Prakhonchai. But what made you choose here?

Went to a near by village with a girl I know, Ban Kruat I think it was called. Just driving about the surrounding areas of Prakhon Chai made up my mind, opened my eyes to what Thailand is really all about, people I met could have not been more welcoming and friendly.

I assumed there was a girl involved!
Dig deep in Prakhonchai and there is a fair bit to do. Many good eateries and a few drinking places where other farangs hang out.
I too was up to the eyeballs with Pattaya/Jomtien. Lived there 14 years, now in Prakhonchai for 10 years
Look forward to meeting up with you sometime.

Good to see that we made an impression welcome1
Hope the food was OK. Find us here www.rayscoffeecorner.com (http://www.rayscoffeecorner.com)
I am here because I also got bored with Pattaya. Opening Coffee Corner was also an attempt to help keep Falangs staying longer in Prakhonchai.
Hope to see you again soon.

Food was excellent, as much as I like Thai food to get some good old western food was a god send. Will certainly be eating at your place again and will hopefully get to meet you at some point, should be back in town around the 16th. Hoping to move to Prakhon Chai in September/October.

I always said it wouldn’t happen to me but I guess we all say that.
Just reading through the forum tells me there is plenty to do there, I see there is a fishing park not to far from town so that will be one thing to keep me occupied.
