Whilst I fully appreciate Buriram is not Pattaya or Phuket are there one or two similar style Beer Bars or Clubs ??
Where might they be located in relation to Railway Station or Clock tower ??

You better give up on the idea of finding a place similar to Pattaya or you will have a big disappointment here...
The only place where you can find p4p same as in Pattaya is the Karaoke bars but their approach is quite far from the Pattaya concept bars/go-go's, etc..
There are nice places like bars and Disco' (Speed' , 'TawanDeang') to go and you will find them in the entertainment area on Thani road (Not far away/Walking distance from the Railway Station/Clock tower).

Farang style bars can be found in Buriram city area as well.

Welcome to Buriram. It's a great place to relax. Sorry for asking but why do you feel you are only staying for a year?
