Internet ‘Mr. Angry’ takes on Thailand’s jet ski scammers
Published by Andrew Drummondon March 14, 2011
One of Thailand’s internet bloggers has won the first round of a battle he has taken up on behalf of foreigners being fleeced by Thailand’s Jet Ski scammers.
Blogger Tim Bull, who runs the perhaps innapropriately named ‘Thailand Land of Smiles’ website, finally lost his rag after witnessing so many scams carried out along Pattaya’s beach - with the assistance of Tourist Police, whom he caught on film.
Now he has received a frank letter from the local Mayor promising action.

The local mayor owns most of them!!!
I didn't know his name was Frank

the Jek Ski service have a very bad reputation and any new tourist being warned but of course, repeat the same mistake and it will continue to be like this. That's the problem with tourist business operators relying on high level of tourists exchange, there will always be the new guys to come.... I used to do alot of Jet Ski because I love it, never been scammed but heard many stories I just decided to put myself off this sport, expensive, risky and can ruin all the holiday for a 20 minutes ride... cool1
