Hi,

I'm from UK currently living in France and married to a Thai from a small village outside of Non Ding Daeng.

Objective is to retire to Thailand ASAP, which will not be as soon as I like  :)

Over the course of the next few years we will be building a house on some land which is part of the family estate - if I can call it that. I get the impression that the family own a lot of land and do quiet well out of it.

Over the last couple of years I have been to Non Din Daeng 5-6 times when I was working in Thailand, my job is now keeping me in Europe and do not plan to be back until some time later this year for a holiday.

I'm looking forward to being an active member of this forum.

What is your line of work, and how long before you can 'retire' ?

I work in IT on business applications for a French multinational and 2 days less than 9 years before I pack it all in, unless my numbers come up of course ;D
