Title: G.A.T. Packs and related info please.
Post by: Michael on February 23, 2011, 04:47:18 PM
My daughter is about to take her final tests for Mat. 5 and having been told various bits of info, much of it contradictory I wonder if anyone could enlightwn me on thw proceedures after the final tests have been checked and the results given.

I was told these are forwarded to all university,s within Thailand and allocations of various subjects circulated to / returned to the school.

My daughter still has M.6 to complete yet and I would have expected GAT tests to be taken somwetime during her final year ???

Somone said they have to take them during the closed period which doesn,t seem right to me.

She has Thai nationality by the way.

Any enlightenment on the proceedures and advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Michael

General Aptitude Test (GAT)

General Aptitude Test (GAT) is for students wishing to achieve entry into a university in Thailand through the university admission system, a good score in the General Aptitude Test (GAT) is very important.
Section 2 of the test and 50% of the score, is on the ability to communicate in English.

The exam will test English level in:

Thank you Admin for your much appreciated reply and the informative url.

Without wanting to sound condescending, well deserved kudos for taking the time to look into the subject for me.

I hope others may find it useful also.
