Buriram-Surin road under construction expansion.

Good to see the work in progress, Buriram-Surin road is very dangerous and its a good development for people traveling between both towns and will release the traffic when trucks on the roads there.

Its a dangerous road WHILST this (necessary) work is being undertaken.
Both times I have travelled along it recently, I have seen a serious Car/bike accident. Please take care members!

It certainly does need to be expanded, as it's long become quite the busy thoroughfare.

I was on that road the  other week, some big drops for those that don't keep their eyes on the road bike037  but they seem to be progressing quite well !!

I now travel along that road 5 days a week. It is only dangerous because of the way people drive along it.

Widening it will have no effect.It will still be dangerous overtaking as everyone will be driving in the outside lane.

The 12kms between Krasang and Surin is costing 335 million baht. Must be something better to spend money on.

This could easily apply to almost any such driving habits and road conditions throughout the country.

Road lamps on this road will help to decrease the number of accidents there.
On night time it is always so dark I try to avoid driving on night time and this is not only on that road but all Thailand, some of the roads are so dark and curve its really like taking a chance and risk your life driving during the night.

Some might not consider Surin as an extended Isaan. Buriram? That's another story. stop1
