As Forfar whatever said, Thais are indeed reluctant to change. I have many times suggested that they hang on to their rice for a couple of months before selling. The extra interest they have to pay on their loans would be far outweighed by the extra money they would receive for their rice. They listen - smile - then load up their trucks and pop down to the mill!
I have given up trying to assist now. Not worth the effort.
Nick doesn't that remind you of that very large guy who runs Coffee Corner

It is NOT on the 24. Prasat - Nang Rong Road.
It is on the Buriram Road. From the 24 Prakhonchai cross roads, turn on to the Buriram Road, and it is on the 2nd corner of the road leading to the bus station.

What worries me is that Dave the Dude is giving crowsnest directions !!

In fairness he did try to find it BEFORE the directions were put on the website.
Good idea about the bus station though. The locals may not know where a Farang restaurant is but sure as hell they could give directions to the bus station

Well i found the Coffee Corner without any hassle once i knew it was on the Buriram road! Thanks tried the fish and chips and tasty to!
The Gf now has around 10 Tonnes of rice put aside for when and if the price should increase which i think it will!
If all works out i will build another 2 for next season then chance my luck!
