I am looking at buying second hand minivan, what do you think about this option?
look like a very interesting option considering the price and value this car is offering in the second hand market.
the only problem I find is that it is only automatic and only benzine engines. no diesel.
do you think it will be smart purchase or not?
I could not find any other alternative in this price rage of 300,000-400,000 baht.

Kia Pregio is too big where Kia Carnival is more like a car, comfortable also, I don't need a van.
I'm asking about reliabillity and repair service of kia carnival, do you think I should go for this option?

Hiya Buriramboy reliability should be ok. Servicing depends if you have a main dealer in buriram area i never seen one. Repair maybee have to deal with bkk on that issue for parts etc. If you are happy with the price and the body condition then go for it. Body more important than engine you can allways replace an engine. If it was me i would be a bit cheeky and suggest to the seller you are very interested in buying it but you would like to hire it first for 1 week if he says ok then i am prity sure the car is ok if on the other hand he don't want you to hire it then try for a good discount it might have a few problems and you would need a bit of cash then. Best of luck m8.......... drivinggear

test drive ok,check the car in garage ok, but to demand from the seller to lent it for you (even if being paid) is way too much to ask. I never heard on something like this.
I wouldn't buy Kia anyway, go for japanese car, simple boring and low cost of maintenance, you will have headache when something will go wrong. also, I think the engine is very thirsty.
