I'm also looking for some direct experience when it comes to auto insurance in the Buriram City area. My Thai wife has two Izuzu pickups. She is looking first class insurance for the new truck and recently found a 7 year old truck.
So, I'm wondering if second class insurance is what she needs for the old truck, but don't know the difference. I'll have to check some other forums maybe. I don't want her to get sued and have poor insurance, since her family drives the vehicles most of the time. I'm not in Thailand at the moment, but should be there in a few weeks to see what is available.
So who knows of a good auto insurance company in Buriram? Much thanks and Happy Holidays!

She should get a first class insurance for the car, even if 7 years old, I assume it will be a big lose if she will lose the car (stolen) or big accident and many other reasons, so I would advise not to take the chance and get proper first class insurance.
