The annual Miracle Phanom Rung festival at Phanom Rung Historical Park.

Location : Chalerm Prakiat district, Buriram province. (Phanum rung castle)
This festival is accompanied by cultural performances, traditional music and dancing and a Light and Sound Show spectacular.

The events as below:

Sunrise through all 15 doorways at the Phanom Rung castle on April 2nd – 4th 2010 (about 06:03 am)

On April 2nd, 2010 – Light and Sound Performance Show “Phanom Rung Siwa Nattarach”
- “Hob Bai Dinner”
- Traditional show ( folk show )
- Ancient Market and OTOP Products

On April 3rd, 2010 – Opening ceremony by Mr.Chai Chidchob (Speaker of Parliament and Chairman of the House of Representatives ) – Light and Sound Performance Show “Phanom Rung Siwa Nattarach” – “Hob Bai Dinner” – Traditional show ( folk show ) – Ancient Market and OTOP Products

"Hob Bai Dinner" is 2,000 bath per "Tok" (table) and one table per five persons. hungry1

Buriram province has start organized and prepare for the annual traditional festival “Phanom Rung festival of 2011″ which will be held during 3rd -5th April 2011.

Buriram province has in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the organization of local government preparing for the “Phanom Rung Festival” (which is held every year) in order to inherit the good tradition of the local and promote the tourism of the province.

The activities will be:

- Worship holy object ceremony on the Phanom Rung castle.

- The divine procession celestial beings .

- Traditional cultural performances

- Dining style “Hope Bai Dinner”

( “Hope” and “bai” is Khamer language mean “eat” and “rice” in Thai language )

- Light and sound show series “Amazing Phanom Rung Castle”.

In addition, people who come to see the festival will see the fantastic of the sun’s rays will shine through all fifteen doorways of the sanctuary in a single shaft of light. (Plan to arrived between sunrise and before 06.00 a.m.).
