Just read on another forum that dengue fever is rife in Buriram ... is that correct, anyone know of any cases? character5

I caught dengue a few years back in Surin and it wasn't fun. I know that's not Buriram but I'm sure the mozzies can cross state lines.
I had a fever for nearly a month.
There's even a chapter about it in my recent book, MY THAI GIRL AND I.

Dengue fever is still rife but now Malaria is back on the scene with mozzies that have grown resistant to the current chemicals used to exterminate them.........TheThai-Laos border being one of the areas mentioned in particular.
