Title: Computing in Buriram

I wish to buy my daughter(11yrs) a laptop so she can get up to speed at school in Buriram but Im not sure how she will get internet access at home(if any).Also not sure what system to get her either.Is dial up? How much would it cost etc ?I would appreciate any advice.

Stephen, there is another post here describing a DTAC sim card for internet. I'm using it all the time and am very happy with it. All you need is either a USB modem or a phone that will connect to your laptop.

I use a Solomon GPRS modem with 1-2-Call internet sim,also have my 2 satelite TV systems come thro this to my TV.
