Title: Phrasebooks
Post by: Lourens on August 13, 2008, 03:11:59 PM
Not stricktly Thai I know but non-the-less entertaining:

The attached file is from a 1883 pamphlet entitled "English as she is spoke" by a Portuguese author who wrote an English phrase book using a French dictionary. Perhaps someone could translate some of those phrases for us?

Perhaps this may inspire someone to write a Thai/English phrase book using only a Hungarian/Thai dictionary?

This is an .fdf file (132kb) that should work with Adobe reader. The .pdf file is 340kb and too big to attach here.

Anyway, here is a .txt version that must work. Only 44kb.
