I'm moving to Krasang in a few days. wave1
My wife and I returned to Bangkok last year after three years in China. We sold our condo, moved into a rental in Nonthaburi, where I've taught part time for several months, and bought a house in her home district, Krasang.
Any debate about taking the plunge and retiring in Krasang or remaining in Nonthaburi was settled when I was diagnosed with Parkinson's earlier this year. We'll move in a few days from now.
I look forward to annoying everybody with all my newbie questions.

Welcome.
Hope the relaxed pace of life here will help with your condition.

Best of luck with your move.
I hope you will get on top of your medical codition. You will meet many good people on this forum.

Thank you both for the welcomes.
RE: My Parkinson's, it's in very early stages and the medication seems to be effective and I haven't noticed any side effects. A couple of students had begun to notice small face and hand tremors, so I figured it was time to move on.
Since I must take the med a 1/2 hour before eating or 1 hour after eating, between meal snacking is reduced and that should help me lose weight.
While waiting for our Chinese visas in 2015, we lived in Ko Kha, Lampang for two to three months. It was about 1/2 the distance from Big C, etc. that Krasang is from B'ram. It was also rural, like Krasang. We were happy there, and I think I'll easily make the adjustment to life in Krasang.
