The real fruit I like the most: Grapes! party8

Grapes are small and crispy, just like snack but healthy.

Can get grapes easily in Buriram, Cheapest place I ever (and always since than) bought grapes is "MAKRO" (Located on jira road just after "Big-C").
*Usually price is 95 Baht/kilo but they discount to around 65~ Baht/kilo often!  bravo1

I love figs also but its so hard to find that I just gave up....  confused6

I've chosen mangosteen from the list, BUT by far Lynchees are my favourite, sadly only available for a couple of months.

Thailand is an agricultural country rich in food crops such as rice and tropical fruits.

What's your favourite fruit in Thailand?

For me, it's the tamarind. No second thoughts. Can't forget that day when my cousin and I bought 1kg of tamarinds for THB20 at a Nakhon Pathom agricultural fair - fat, juicy, delicious tamarinds. Yumz.

Its a nice thread about thai fruits. All these fruits are wonderful. In my opinion banana, mango and grapes are top of the list. These fruits are best in thai fruits.

Jackfruit and mangosteen, but alot of the others look really good also.  You can take my share of the Durian, that fruit is horrible, but to each his own and a great many people enjoy it greatly.
