Post by: Thai Bart on May 06, 2018, 02:02:49 PM
I know it's a long shot but has anyone had a GPS repaired in Buriram area. I think it just needs a replacement battery as it is fine on the 12v car charger.
here's hoping.

No idea, but you coukd ask the phone guys on the 2nd floor in Robinson or if that fails call this company, they are the garmin distributors for Thailand if they know a service center close by

I replaced the battery on my Garmin. Quite easy really. Hardest part is getting the correct battery pack. I think I ordered mine from amazon. They do ship here for some items.

However there is a phone repair shop in the IT section of big c that may be able to get the battery you need and install for you. I have not used their service so I can?t comment on quality of their work.

Thanks David, I too would attempt it but it's will I get the right battery, back home I know it would be correct .
I have it in the car so when I next go to Big C with the other half I will get her to ask.
Cheers
