Title: Land Price per Rai
Post by: Jon Terry on October 16, 2011, 07:22:13 PM
Does anybody know how much I should pay today for paddy fields per Rai at the moment around the Panom Rung area,
Last time we were here we had the chance to buy 2 Rai which was given to my wife by her Grandmother when she was a kid, which her Dad sold before we met.
The present owners said we could have it back for the same price as it was sold for as it was some kind of honour bound deal, but we only had one year to raise the cash and after returning home we forgot all about it, until we heard the news that they had waited for us for over a year and then sold it( no honour lost I suppose as they gave us along time to buy and they needed the money).
Anyway we found out that it was sold for over ten times what they would have excepted from us, so my question is has anybody bought and land recently around the area, or know a ball park figure on which my wife and I could expect to pay.
A) close to a road/water
B)not as A

Cheers Jon

At under 50,000 Baht a rai it sounds a good price. Assuming the title is Nor Sor 4

There is a thread on another forum about Buriram land prices. Have a read.

(Bear in mind that I am Cardholder and Sinbin is a complete tw4t!)
