Anyone recognise this species of snake? It was about 5 feet long with very few stripes on its front half, pic is from halfway until tail. Had to scale down pics as too large a file for this site. I know it's not much to view but posting quickly it's the best I could do. More important if you know it, is it a poisonous one

Looks like a Rat Snake to me , it's Non Venomous and Not Dangerous but they do have a strong bite which may get infected if not kept clean. They only bite if they are trapped as a defensive measure and normally try to just slither away.
It will eat Chicks if you have Chickens but mainly eats eats rodents, lizards, frogs and other small animals :)
BTW...My family like's to eat them hungry1
