Transcend 1 TB ext HDD reset?
notrub posted a topic in IT and Computers

My Trannscend 1TB storejet just died on me. I plugged it into a powered USB hub and the blue light on the top went out and will not come back on, I have tried other cables and other computers withput any luck. Is there a reset or fuse inside the rubber casing please? Any other Ideas what to do please? Thanks very much for any help.

I see you posted this on other forums too (with no replies ) ...basically if it's not under any guarantee then you will have to buy a new one.You could take it to a local Computer shop like 'Advice' (https://www.advice.co.th/wheretobuy/%E0%B8%A0%E0%B8%B2%E0%B8%84%E0%B8%AD%E0%B8%B5%E0%B8%AA%E0%B8%B2%E0%B8%99/%E0%B8%9A%E0%B8%B8%E0%B8%A3%E0%B8%B5%E0%B8%A3%E0%B8%B1%E0%B8%A1%E0%B8%A2%E0%B9%8C) and see if they can fix it .  If you use your Trannscend 1TB storejet to store downloaded Movies and TV Shows then I would think about buying an android box instead to live stream you entertainment ................. Downloading stuff is so 'Yesterday'  :)
