CHEERS ADMIN....JUST SPOTTED YOUR POST party6 smilebar
If its just for 90day reporting there wont be too many takersWhy? It saves the long trip to their office, there is a lot of money to be saved by doing the 90 days notification in Buriram/Surin.
I shall probably be there on March 8th; my 90-days is due on March 10th, and my annual visa renewal before March 31st, so it fits well for me.

Even better than I said, Al. I do one 90-days at Surin, the next at Buriram and so on... I live roughly half-way between the two!
It depends on where you live & when your 90day report falls as to whether or not it suits peopleIf its just for 90day reporting there wont be too many takersWhy? It saves the long trip to their office, there alot of money to be saved by doing the 90 days notification in Buriram/Surin.

You are lucky to live so near to Dan Kwan......not the same for most of us.Its 250k ( Each way ) to Korat for me and only 60k to Surin and about 110k to Buriram so a big saving for me.:-)

Surin puts notices outside in English; Buriram doesn't. Today was my first time there, and I and another client had difficulty in finding it (in spite of reading your instructions, Admin).Look above, also instructions and also Videos taking you inside(!) the office and you had difficulty to find it?!

Yes, I've heard this around as well. A permanent Buriram office would certainly be convenient for some.....yet, like you, I wouldn't hold my breath.
*There is another rumours about immigration plans to open a permanent office in Buriram but I suspect it won't be happen in the near future. sawadi
I never heard about it, they have a plan to visit both provinces until December 2011 and later will see and update you here.

Reading this Topic with intrest as I am due to re-start the yearly extensions after an 18 months hiatus in Australia.wonder if this applies to BOTH locations visited?
Called Korat Immigration yesterday to see what day in Febuary 2012 they would be visiting Buriram.
I was told that "No more Mobile service for Buriram" !!!!!
The Lady I spoke to had a good grasp of English and I doubt anything was lost in translation?
Anyone else heard of the discontinuation of this service ???
I hear that Kap Chong office is re-opening
I hear that Kap Chong office is re-opening
Some of us are stilled baffled as to the reasons that this [Kap Choeng] office closed - they were just refurbishing the whole complex and than shut the doors.
Hypothetically, would they chose to have two offices down there [Chong Chom & Kap Choeng], if the rumormill proved itself true?
Why "bad for Korat", gotlost? It wouldn't hurt Korat at all, as they'd still have the office at Dan Kwian. But I doubt whether it will happen.
But good news for Nookie !!!Why "bad for Korat", gotlost? It wouldn't hurt Korat at all, as they'd still have the office at Dan Kwian. But I doubt whether it will happen.
Point taken. But Coffee Corner may miss out on some traffic from Surin. I thank I may be smelling a business opportunity coming up. pray1
