For those who aren?t familiar with the word Haematology it means: A haematologist is a specialist in haematology, the science or study of blood, blood-forming organs and blood diseases. The medical aspect of haematology is concerned with the treatment of blood disorders and malignancies, including types of haemophilia, leukaemia, lymphoma and sickle-cell anaemia.
K9, May I suggest that you speak to your local Doctor and ask him for a referral to a Haematologist.
Regards

I see my haemotologist in the UK once every six months as I have a blood disorder called polycythemia. However last October I suffered a DVT and was eventually seen by a haemotologist at the government hospital. This happened on a Friday and was told no hab blood doctor until Monday and wanted to admit me until then.
