I pass daily on "no name brand"power tools with dodgy pedigree. However Ridgid Tools of St. Louis, MO has a line of quality wet dry shop vacs manufactured by Emerson. My order of genuine Ridgid plumbing tools including augers and pipe wrenches made in the USA has arrived. The Ridgid WD1680EX 60 liter wet | dry shop vacuum is a huge step up in function from any other shop vacs I stock in Buriram. This model also includes a detachable garden blower. I have five different models of genuine Ridgid wet | dry shop vacuums now in stock at my family owned builders merchants store. These vacuums are not made in China. They are designed in the United States and manufactured in the same nation as Corona Beer is brewed. I buy this line of tools from the direct importer to Thailand and have the lowest price in Thailand for Ridgid Tools.

I'm interested n the Wet n Dry shop vac range. Can you confirm that they are bagless for the normal dry vacuum function. Also, can you advise on price range. Just lowest and highest price please.

The "expat sales department" translator Miss Nan will post the prices later today and I will post prices on Buriram Expats. I will have Miss Nan open each model to check for bags. I see them moving the Ridgid WD1450Ex and the Ridgid WD4070EX wet | dry shop vacs this morning to the front of the store.

Freddy: Ruangsangthai has the lowest price in Thailand on six models of genuine Ridgid bagless Wet Dry Shop Vacuums. They range in price from 5899 baht for the WD0671EX which is 22.5 liters to the WD1450EX which is 6hp and priced at 10,999 baht. The extra powerful WD1851EX has a 60 liter capacity and is 6.5hp for 12.500 baht. There are 6 Ridgid Shop Vacuum models in stock in Buriram at Ruangsangthai and I'll post more photos next week. These shop vacuums are a huge step up in design, power, warranty length than the Chinese models sold at Makro or the other fine Buriram Home Improvement Stores.

I will be traveling to the United States and Mexico to visit the headquarters and the two factories of Franklin Electric in October with my wife. Mr. California Bob has set up a visit to a Lowe's and a Home Depot that are near a hotel on my first visit to the United States. He is keen that I see rolling tool chests that he states are common for home owners in the United States. Mr. Bob has cautioned me that staffing is a bit lean in Home Depot compared to Home Improvement Hardware Stores in Buriram.

While on my business to to the United States, I had the opportunity to spend an evening in the Home Depot Home Improvement Center near the New Jersey Meadowlands Hotel. Quite an experience for a Thai citizen born and raised in Buriram, Thailand. I took note of Ridgid shop vacuums and accessories. This Saturday a shipment arrived at my family owned hardware and tool store in Buriram with several models of genuine Ridgid vacuum air filters. These are manufactured in the Emerson factory in the same nation as Corona beer is brewed. The Ridgid Tool display is located next to the only Milwaukee Power Tool store stock display in Buriram, Isaan Thailand.
