IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PEOPLE LOOKING TO RENT A CAR IN NANGNRONG!!!!!!!

If anyone is looking to rent a car in Nangrong DO NOT go to a Norwegian guy called HANZ.

I just rented a Chev pickup from him for 14 days at an agreed price of 12000 baht with a 6000 baht deposit. When I returned the car to him he refused to pay me my deposit back saying that he hadn't agreed on the 12000 baht deal and that I owed him another 3000. The paper work stated that I had paid him 18000 baht.

He is a lying, thieving unreliable man that is looking for a quick easy couple of baht.

Please pass this around if you hear his name mentioned.

OK I lost money, that's unfortunate, but I don't want him to do the same to anyone else.

thx very muc Matt, I had friend looking at renting in Nangrong and I told him about ur warning, he got vehicle in Buriram, looks like you saved him a few baht thx

Matt, if this rental agreement is written down and/or signed by this person, please go to the police and file an extortioncomplaint. He will be arrested, jailed, judged and expelled from the country. Foreigners are not allowed to run a renting or leasing company.

Thanks for the advice mate, the paper work was signed but he is running it through his "wife" and he doesn't sign anything so I guess he got away with it. After being around for such along time I should have known better.

But I am glad to hear that the message has got out and one person was lucky enough to not get stung.
