Title: New TM 6 Form
Post by: urleft on April 09, 2018, 12:00:35 PM

thailandflag There's a new TM 6 Form when entering the Kingdom.  Essentially the same information, major change seems to be that the departure card portion will now fit into your passport without folding.   thailandflag

On back it states all passengers must complete the form.  But the TW and TD did not and breezed right through immigration, so I guess Thai's are not considered passengers.

When I came through BKK 11 November 2017 the old form was used.  So they probably waited until the old form was used up.

When I came back from Laos the other month the guy if front of me had an old TM6, he asked if he had to fill out a new one and they said "No Problem we take both "

I filled out one on those new ones on my last trip to Laos. That was in 2016. I remember laughing at the questions on the back.

At my subsequent entry, at Suvannabhumi, 18 days later I was given the old form.

This could mean that they were being tested at land borders, maybe. Also maybe the airlines had stocks of the old ones.
