The 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games is nearly upon us, with the action starting today !

We  ( TEAM UK ) have a team of over 390 athletes ready to represent Team And Country in Australia's Gold Coast from 4-15 April.

There is no such thing as "Team UK" at the Commonwealth games. Also, the Union Flag is not flown.

I understand the final of the Ball Tampering event is on Monday.

Australia are favourites, given their recent good form and home ground advantage,
but England, Sth Africa, India and Sri Lanka are all in with a good chance, having all
put in solid performances over the years.

Apparently the 15 hi-def cameras covering the event will be switched off, to allow
for an even contest.

Judges will pick the winner based on originality, cunning and guile.

There may even be 5 gold medals awarded.     australiaflag
