I've been seeing a Gastroenterologist in Bangkok for the last couple of months but since I live in Buriram I'd like to transfer to a doctor up here. I've got a condition that requires a monthly prescription, so I'd also like to avoid having to go to Bangkok every month to re fill it. I've gleaned from these forums that Bangkok Hospital in Korat is one of the better, if not the best option for medical services up here.
I have all the records from my doctor in Bangkok, so I just need to get hooked up with a Gastroenterologist up here. If no one can recommend a Gastroenterologist (and I didn't actually expect anyone on these boards to) then perhaps you could recommend how I should go about meeting one. I've checked their web site but it's not too useful. Should I just call (or have my wife call) to ask for a doctor and an appointment?
Thanks in advance,
Hank

I would recommend trying St Marys ,The Army and the new Suranthee University Hospital all 3 get good reports especially the new one nowhere near as costly as the Bangkok Korat Hospital

Thanks nookie. I seem to recall hearing/reading good reviews for St. Mary's. I'll maybe give them a call.
Cheers,
