Title: WW2 Quiz (2)
Post by: smoooth2 on February 06, 2017, 08:05:44 PM
On the attachment to this post is another little quiz about World War 2.

It's printable on A4 size paper.

Should keep you happily Googling and out of mischief for a while.   thumbup

I'll post the answers next week.

Cheers lads.

As an aside.  The file you have attached is an RTF (Rich Text Format).  If you want to transfer a file, saving as an RTF will mean most word processors will recognize and display the file.

If you select "Save As" there should be an RTF option on your word processor.

Damned if if could find anything on that fuse Q15 and miscounted the number of Allied Nations Q13
Looking forward to the next one.

Thanks mahdam    thumbup   and to everyone that had a crack at it.

Yes ... the fuze question was a bit obscure ... but it was a big secret at the time. The reference to the Japs being unable to miniaturize it was that they had a highly effective proximity fuze in their Long Lance torpedoes, but were unable to perfect a much smaller version that could fit into an artillery shell. The fuze surviving the initial shock of firing was the huge technological challenge.
