VALENTINES TOUR TO SIEM REAP 12th/15th February 2018
4,000 Baht per person
The price is based on 2 people sharing a Superior room at the City River Hotel and includes return minibus/coach travel from Osmach (Chong Chom border) to/from Siem Reap, plus 3 nights accommodation with breakfast. The Cambodian visa for non-Thais is extra at $30 (they try to charge $35 or 1,500 Baht - be prepared to deal with this). Many people pass over their passport, visa application and $35 to ensure smooth passage. Asians are charged 100 Baht to enter Cambodia.
12th Feb - aim to arrive at Chong Chom border by 10.00 to allow 1 hour for immigration processing (coffee etc available at casino restaurant). Depart Osmach 11.00 to arrive hotel by 13.30.
13th Feb - Visit to Angkor Wat (optional) Note: The entrance fee is now $37.
14th Feb - At leisure - consider Kompong Phluck
15th Feb - Depart after breakfast, say 10.00 am, for the border.
The itinerary allows time on the day of arrival to discover Siem Reap and perhaps visit the National Museum - a good source of information prior to visiting Angkor Wat. We also recommend a visit to Phare - a Cambodian circus. Alternatively, you may wish to relax with a glass of Angkor draft beer for 50 cents in Pub Street.
