Title: Mandatory Health Insurance rumors
Post by: iammike on January 06, 2019, 01:12:26 PM
As there are rumors going round about that Foreigners who want to get an extension are required to get a Mandatory Health Insurance (if they don't have one), will that effect you or ..... ?

Personally I am not bothered as we (my wife and myself) have an Insurance from abroad (Living abroad it's called) and they will fully reimburse (or pay the bill directly to the Hospital) the cost for among other things Medication, Specialist treatment, Lab test, Hospitalization, Ambulance, Dental etc etc.

But what do you guys think ?

Stand to be corrected mike, but I believe that was for Non O A- long stay visa issued in your home country and not the marriage / retirement extensions.

100 % correct are you Somnat, but how long before it's agreed for the NON-OA it will sip through to the other options/extensions ??

But again, this is just about a rumor so NOTHING final yet.
